Unable to run Toolkit product; PROGRESS.CFG file is missing
910911-SLK01There is a problem in the current 6.2B release of VMS Toolkit where
the install fails to copy the PROGRESS.CFG file to the DLCTK directory
before removing it from the working directory used during the install
process. Because of this, customers are unable to run the product.
The workaround is to have the customer start installing the product,
and after the point where the initial files (PROGRESS.CFG, README.PRO,
etc.) are copied to the working directory, have them logon to another
terminal and copy the PROGRESS.CFG file to another directory. Once
the installation is complete, they can then copy the PROGRESS.CFG
file to the DLCTK directory.
This problem will be corrected in 6.2G07 release.
