CHANGING THE INSTALLATION DEVICE
During installation, PROGRESS uses default installation devices.
To specify non#default installation devices, you must modify the
prodevices script before you run the proinstall command. This script
is placed into your installation directory after you run the extract
command on your PROGRESS install label. A mistake in this script
prevents the installation process's View or change installation
device(s) option from working properly.
To modify this script, use an ASCII text editor to change the
following lines:
tapeskip=${tapeskip="mt -f $tape2nddev fsf"}
taperew=${taperew="mt -f $tapehdrdev fsf"}
to appear as follows:
tapeskip="mt -f $tape2nddev fsf"
taperew="mt -f $tapehdrdev fsf"
After you modify these lines, execute the proinstall command to continue
your installation.
NOTE: This is fixed in 6.2g33 media.
