When system won't accept control codes containing '@':stty
901025-gfs02Please note that on some UNIX machines the '@' character is assigned
to 'kill'. This will prevent people from inputting PROGRESS control
numbers containing the '@' character. You can verify this by having
the user enter 'stty -a' on System V or 'stty everything' on Berkley
systems and look for the '@'. If you see it, have the user change the
function to something other than '@' prior to installing PROGRESS.
Then have then change it back after the installation is complete.
