"dbemast.i not found" QBF changes 5.2-3D, E, F - regen QBFS
900202-HJB02The FAST TRACK QBF drivers have changed in versions 5.2-3E and again
in 5.2-3F. This requires that all FAST TRACK QBFS generated under
5.2-3D and releases prior must be regenerated when the customer
upgrades to either 5.2-3E and/or 5.2-3F. An error that indicates the
QBFS need to be regenerated is: "could not find dlcft/qbf/dbemast.i".
The regeneration of the QBF's can be done in the QBF Generator by
specifying regeneration of ALL QBFS for ALL FORMS and ALL FILES, or
they may be done individually from the Screen Painter with DEFINE QBF.
This is especially a problem for users deploying QBFS from a FAST
TRACK release on one machine to a different FAST TRACK release on
another machine. Because the drivers themselves are different, the
customer if possible should upgrade the target machine to match the
development machine. If this is not possible, due to the release
level on the target machine then the developer is forced to apply
apply a patch as mentioned in the attached memo from Johan Forsblad.
