Problems with CCI O/S Rev. 3.00 and PROGRESS 4.2E

CCI has a confirmed that a problem exists in their OS, beginning with
Rev 3.00, that prevents PROGRESS 4.2E to successfully run. Specific
systems of the problem are that the machine will crash reliably upon
either: 1) using the proshut command to terminate a Progress
multiuser
session or 2) using 'quit' to terminate a single user session.
Customer encountering this problem should call their CCI customer
service representative to obtain an OS patch to fix the problem. The
problem is known to exist in CCI O/S revs 3.00 to 3.02.02.
Workaround. There is no workaround and no database damage will occur.
Once you reboot your machine you can restart your PROGRESS session.
