920612-ptg01Progress reserves two special characters for its own internal use,
METACOLN (meta-colon) and METAEOF (meta-end of file). These are used
by the compiler and r-code executor. A customer will not be able to
use these characters anywhere in his Progress environment (in code,
protermcap, data, etc.).
