Solution ID: P16222
GOAL:
How to create a broker on a different machine than the machine hosting the directory service for including that broker in the cluster with SonicMQ 5.0
FACT(s) (Environment):
SonicMQ
FIX:
1. You install SonicMQ version 5.0 on that machine and start the directory service hosting
container on the other machine
2. You connect using the SonicMQ Management Console on the machine to the directory
service of the the directory service hosting machine ( using IP address or host name )
3. Using that SonicMQ Management Console you create a new broker
5. Using that SonicMQ Management Console you create a new container
6. Using that SonicMQ Management Console you add that broker to that container
7. From that container you generate the Boot File
8. Make a copy of startcontainer.bat file and set in that new .bat file for starting the new created container as CONTAINERFILE variable the exported Boot File.
9. After starting that new bat file you will see the new container started
within the hosting directory service and allow you to add that broker to the cluster.
