1355: IPX must be loaded/working; SPX; NLM, Windows,WIN95,No

This error message can be caused by three things:

1) In your system.ini file, which is located in the
directory where windows is installed, you need the
following entry in the {386enh} section:
network=*vnetbios,vipx.386,vnetware.386

2) The version of the nwipxspx.dll file, which is located
in the directory in which windows is installed, is older
than version 1.31. v1.31 of this file is the oldest
release that will work with Progress. To check the version
of this file, simply type: VERSION nxipxspx.dll
NOTE: On Windows 95, the nwipxspx.dll should be in the \windows
directory for V6 progress and in the \windows\system for V7 +.

3) The version of the protocol stack (IPX/SPX) is older than
version 3.10. v3.10 is the oldest version of the protocol
stack that is supported by Progress. To check the version
of the protocol stack that you are using, simply type NVER
while logged into the network.

The latest versions of Windows/Netware drivers are located in
the NovFiles area of CompuServ. The above mentioned versions
of files are the minimum needed. We highly recommend the very
latest drivers be used.
