proutil conv89 fails with 5034 error
Input blocking statement invalid while executing a database CREATE or REPLICATION-CREATE trigger from a RAW-TRANSFER statement. (5034)
Messages in log file are truncated
SYSTEM ERROR: Bad return from select, errno=<n>. The server may be non-existent. (5025)
Error 5025 in log file is truncated to read: stent. (5025)
Error in rss_cleanup: error code -20021 was returned by dsmContextDelete
CHANGE:
Upgraded to Progress 9.x.
CAUSE:
The bi file was not truncated prior to database conversion.
FIX:
1. Restore backup of the Progress 8.x database.
2. Truncate the bi file with Progress 8.x.
3. Convert the database: proutil dbname -C conv89
or dump and load the database instead of converting.
