Widgets Bleeding Through Other Widgets in 7.3A with 3D
In version 7.3A if you set the THREE-D attribute
on your frame your widgets will have a 3D look.
Under MS-Windows 7.3A if you overlay a 3-D widget
with a browse widget, a selection list or a
dialog box. The widget underneath will bleed
through into the widget that overlayed it.
This is caused by the ctl3d.dll that PROGRESS
uses for its 3-D effect. The solution to this
problem is to either
a) Put the browse widget or selection list
on a frame with no-box that is the same size as
the widget and is invisible to the user.
OR
b) Hide the widgets underneath the frame when
the browse widget, selection list, or dialog box
are made visible.
