SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed agents do not recognize a database connection
Webspeed broker is up and running
No database connection can be seen through WorkShop
Agent Startup parameters have the following:
-p web\objects\web-disp.p -weblogerror -H hostname -S dbport -N tcp
CAUSE:
The "-db" <Database_name> parameter is missing from the agent's startup parameters. Since the -db parameter is missing, the agents ignore the other database parameters (-H, -S, and -N) as if there are no startup parameters listed.
FIX:
Enter the -db <Database_Name> into Agent Startup Parameters
