FT: Keyword CODE gives "xcode" & "unable to analyze diction
890601-SLK01Fast Track: Keyword CODE
It seems that there is an "undocumented" keyword called CODE in the
Fast Track procedures that results in strange errors when customers
use this keyword as a field name/index name. If you happen to get a
customer problem with Fast Track where they can always duplicate the
problem and you cannot in the demo database, it is a good idea to
check their data definitions to make sure they are not using this
keyword. One example was delete validation when generating a QBF: the
customer consistently got the message "unable to analyze dictionary
validate expression" errors when attempting to generate a qbf where
the word "CODE" was in the delete validation and the field/index name
was "CODE" - by changing the name of the field/index they are able to
get around the problem.
F.T. creates a buffer x + filename. x + CODE = progress keyword
xcode - causes a problem!
