How to print screen from V7 MSW ( alt -p or alt - printscrn)
Users of V7 can print screens for documentation purposes by using the
MS-Windows Clipboard. At any Progress screen, press <alt>-p or
<alt>-<prntscrn> which will place the screen contents in the
clipboard. Any Windows application with print capability can then be
used to Edit->Paste from the Clipboard to the application (such as
Paintbrush), then print normally.
If users want to print what is in the Clipboard from a Progress
application, they will have to invoke an application that prints
graphics (such as Paintbrush) using winexec or by invoking
a third party DLL using the methods outlined in the External
Interfaces Guide.
