EOL on unix and DOS are different (what you can do)
The EOL on Unix is different from EOL on DOS. If you FTP a file
from UNIX to DOS in binary mode, the EOL will not be converted and it
will not look 'nice' in the Progress version 7.2D editor. Customers
often find this a problem with .d or .df files when they want to view
them in the editor. If the user uses FTP in ascii mode to transfer
the files, then the EOL will be converted and will look nice in
version 7.2D editor.
In version 7.3A, Progress will handle the conversion on the way into
the editor for you so it will look 'nice'.
