Login by <user> on <ttyxxx>. (452)
The ODBC dialog box does not ask for a password when doing the Test Connect
UserID, with password, is defined in the Database.
On the ODBC DSN level, the Security is enabled.
Using MERANT or DataDirect 3.7 SQL-89 driver.
With MERANT or DataDirect 3.6 SQL-89 Driver, when the Security is enabled on the ODBC DSN Level, the password is requested and the connection works.
FIX:
If security is not needed, disable the Security option on the ODBC DSN Level. In this case, there is no need to specify the UserId and its password.
