Solution ID: P36
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.X
UNIX
Linux
SYMPTOM(s):
A JVM has not been detected
Installation of products that require JAVA will not be allowed.
FIX:
If the correct jdk version has been installed and the warning message is still appearing then make sure that the jdk bin directory is referenced in the PATH.
For example, if jdk118 is installed in /usr/jdk118 then place /usr/jdk118/bin included in your path.
After entering the serial numbers and control codes you may be prompted for the JavaHome Path. For this you would enter /usr/jdk118.
