server has disconnected with low memory on DB Engine
900427-wlb01"Server has disconnected" can be caused by not having enough memory
on the server machine. It can also cause the database engine to just
hang (cannot even do a shutdown). When new users log in if there is
not enough memory for the user it seems that it will disconnect
another user at will. We found that there is a "memory creep" bug
on the DOS/LAN server that takes up memory as users keep logging in
and out and does not release that memory. There is a patch
available: 5.2I14 that fixes the _mprosrv module for any product:i
Full, Query, and Runtime. This has been fixed in Version 6.
