Kbase 22099: How To Whether an Install is Complete or Typical in 9.1D

SUMMARY:
Over time, it might be difficult to remember whether an install is complete or typical. 9.1D has a new file, installd.ini, which provides some help with making that determination.
EXPLANATION:
The installd.ini file contains a list of the products installed and a list of components for the product. Viewing the installd.ini file, you will note settings of either 0 or 1 for the various components and subcomponents.
-- Complete or Custom
If all components have a value = to 1 the install was either a complete install or a custom with all components selected.
-- Typical or Custom
If some components are = to 0 and some subcomponents are = to 0, then the install was either a typical or custom with only some components and subcomponents selected.
SOLUTION:
Components/Subcomponents that have a value = to 0 are NOT installed.
Components that have a value = to 1 have been installed.
--Typical installs
Typical installs will have some components and subcomponents with values of 0.
-- Complete installs
Complete installs will have an install value of 1 for all components as well as all subcomponents (except Languages).
-- Custom installs
Components selected for a Custom install may appear as Typical, Complete or something in between, depending upon the components and subcomponents selected during the install process.
Below are some sample installd.ini files for an Enterprise DB license, one for a Typical install and one for a Complete install.
