This Solution applies to Progress 9.1D / WebSpeed 3.1D on HP-UX 11.
You might encounter the following errors when trying to run cgiip or wsnsa messengers on an HP-UX 11 machine:

EXPLANATION:
Progress 9.1C and later require the following Operating System patches to be applied to your system: XSWGR1100, PHSS_22543, PHSS_22868 and PHSS_22478 (or their successors).
The errors occur because patch PHSS_22478 has not been applied on your Operating System.
SOLUTION:
Apply the required patches to work with 9.1D on HP-UX. Please, refer to your OS vendor for more details on the patches.
