SUMMARY:
The following error might appear when trying to install the Intranet image of the WebClient install:
Setup cannot continue because of the following error: 80090006
When looking at the Apache Web server log file you might see the message: ikernel.exe file does not exist
EXPLANATION:
The error # 80090006 refers to Invalid signature.
The message seen in the Web server log file better indicates the cause. The problem could be due to an incompatibility with the installshield engine (ikernel.exe) on the client machine.
SOLUTION:
Verify that the ikernel.exe file on the machine is the most recent version of the file.
