SUMMARY:
Selection of items within EDOC might result in your not being able to see the text of the item that you have selected.
EXPLANATION:
The colors of menus and selections within EDOC / Dynatext are governed by the properties you set for your Windows display. Depending upon what you have set for the properties, you might not be able to see the text of chapters within a book when they are selected. This is because the "Selected Items" property you have defined for your display is too dark.
SOLUTION:
To change this color, modify the "Selected Items" color of your Windows Display Properties:
Start > Control Panel > Display Properties > Appearance >
Item: Selected Items
or
Right mouse button on desktop > Properties > Appearance >
Item: Selected Items
Choose an alternative color from the color palette that is provided, or create your own color by selecting Other, picking a predefined color and then choosing a Red, Green, Blue shade that appeals to you. Select "Add to Custom Colors" and then OK.
