Kbase 21942: "WSAERROR: No error. (-10000)" When Using Roundtable

SUMMARY:
This Solution explains why you might see the following error when using, for example, Roundtable:
WSAERROR: No error. (-10000)
EXPLANATION:
The error is explained in some detail in Progress Solution 20401.
The type of development mode, whether local or remote, is saved in the [proAB] section of the .ini file. The actual setting is:
[proAB]
remotefilemanagement=YES (or NO)
If by accident this is set to remote when the development is local, you will see this error when doing any file operations, for instance, a Save. Technical Support has documented instances where all the client PCs froze after this setting was accidentally changed by one user -- all the users were using the same .ini file.
SOLUTION:
Change the setting in the .ini file or click on the icon in the AppBuilder to change the mode from local to remote, or vise versa. This setting is saved from the AppBuilder instantly rather than when you exit out of the session.
