Kbase 21925: Possible Cause of Error 9450 on a Data Extent

SUMMARY:
Error 9450 might occur in the database log file on a Windows 2000 system, although there is sufficient hard disk space available. A core file may also be generated.
"bkioRead:Insufficient disk space during Read, fd (n), len (n),
offset (n), file <path to .d(n)> (9450)
EXPLANATION:
A program, such as SQL Server 2K internal maintenance, Windows autodefrag, or another scheduled program is running while the database is in mutli-user mode. Usually programs of this type are scheduled to run early in the morning. They will potentially move database blocks and cause the error.
SOLUTION:
To resolve the error, disable the offending task or run the task while the database is not running.
