SUMMARY:
Table permissions; Can-Read, Can-Write, Can-Create, Can-Delete, Can-Dump and Can-Load, are limited to 63 characters within a GUI client session.
EXPLANATION:
This was a limitation in both the TTY and GUI clients. In a change to the file _usrsecu.p, a fix was made to the TTY client to have security fields for tables and within those fields to be viewed as an editor (view-as editor). This allows the permissions to accommodate greater than 63 characters.
This same change now needs to be made to _guisecu.p, and is logged and requested in Bug # 20020325-049.
NOTE: Earlier bugs for TTY clients are 19950403-027 and 19970815-004.
SOLUTION:
Until the change is made for the GUI client, you can add more than 63 characters for these permissions via a TTY (character) client.
