SUMMARY:
The following error message can appear while connecting to a database via the SQL Explorer Tool:
com.progress.common.util.PromsgsFile$PromsgsFileIOException:
invalid context block for promsgs file
SOLUTION:
With the original convmap.cp file supplied with Progress Version 9 in the install directory (DLC), this error does not occur.
It appears only when the convmap.cp file has been built in Version 8 which did not contain the UTF-8 code page.
There are two possible solutions:
-- Rebuild the convmap.cp file in order to add the UTF-8 code page.
- or -
-- Use the original convmap.cp file.
