SUMMARY:

Progress 9.1C and Dynamics 1.1A have been certified against Windows XP, however the Windows XP display might distort Dialog Boxes in some applications.

EXPLANATION:

On Windows XP, if you are not using the Windows Classic Theme, you might run into Dialog Box sizing issues. The reason for this is that for XP, the caption size is larger than the caption size on other Windows platforms. As a result, the offset for buttons or various other GUI controls is off by the delta between the two caption sizes.

SOLUTION:

You can either modify the window size, or move the GUI controls away from the edge of the window. In either case you must recompile in order for the changes to take effect.

Using the Windows Classic Theme on Windows XP machines avoids this issue without requiring recompilation.
