SUMMARY:
When trying to install Fathom you might see the message:
"Unable to continue - no supported versions of Progress are
available"
even though a proper version of Progress is installed.
EXPLANATION:
When doing a Fathom installation, Progress checks the Windows registry to make sure the required Progress products are installed. If an incomplete install of Fathom has previously occurred, Progress might find misinformation there. Doing a second install of Fathom would then produce the error, when in fact the proper version of Progress is installed.
SOLUTION:
1) Go to the registry and look under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC.
2) Remove the folders, FATHOM and Fathom for Mng SE.
You should now be able to install Fathom.
