SUMMARY:
WebSpeed patches are a subset of Progress patches.
EXPLANATION:
Progress may bundle WebSpeed related objects within a Progress patch.
The method used on Windows is typically a ZIP or self-extracting archive. On most UNIX systems, the method is by tar or compressed tar.
Although the WebSpeed objects (for instance, cgiip, cgiip.exe, wsisa.dll, nsisa.dll, etc.) may be included in the patch, they will not be moved to the correct position on your system by the archive.
You must manually copy these files to your correct Web server folders, such as scripts or cgi-bin, for those files to be useful.
