SUMMARY:
The Dynamics parameter -baseADE is not implemented in the 9.1C base product, but rather in a 9.1C patch.
-baseADE <directory> allows developers to specify the location of ADE r-code. Progress will add this directory and all of the .pl's in that directory to PROPATH at startup instead of adding %DLC%/gui(tty) and the .pl's from %DLC%/gui(tty).
EXPLANATION:
If you use the -baseADE startup parameter, Progress 9.1C will not recognize it sending the following error:
You have not supplied a parameter for argument -s. (1403)
SOLUTION:
Patch the Progress installation to 9.1C08 or later.
