SYMPTOM(s):
** There is no server active for database <database> on -H <hostname> -S <servicename>. (704)
Machine where server is running has multiple network cards
FIX:
You need to start the Database broker(s) without specifying any hostname.
For example:
proserve sports -S primary
proserve sports -S secondary -m3
The above solution has been tested successfully with 9.1B on AIX.
If your network configuration is not set correctly, the remote client may encounter error 704.
