SUMMARY:
When you create a new broker or a new NameServer using Progress Explorer, you may notice that the OK button in the properties window is grayed out, and upon clicking on any of the property attribute you will get the following error:
One or more property settings are invalid
EXPLANATION:
If you check the port number on the property window you will notice that it is grayed out. This means that another broker or NameServer is using that port number. As soon as you change the port number that is not being used by other processes or not listed in the ubroker.properties, the OK button gets activated to save the change. You can then go through each property attribute without getting the above error.
SOLUTION:
Change the port number for the newly created broker or NameServer that is not being used by any other processes in the network.
