VMS Terminal error:
%system-w-overrun, data overrun
term io error 2104, sireadx, read iosb
If this message is received by a user (usually see in the db log
file), they can alleviate the problem by setting the following
terminal characteristic at the operating system level:
set term/hostsync
The hostsync attribute controls whether system transmission to the
terminal is stopped when the input buffer is full and resume
when it is empty.
The error occurs when the user input buffer is full and they have
their terminal set to
ohostsync
