SYMPTOM(s):
Error 1174 when starting the database after an external event has brought the database down (e.g. power-outage).
SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid shared memory segment identifier (1174)
CAUSE:
Running out of disk space
FIX:
Check the disk space on the file system and delete any unnecessary files.
Also truncating the database log file and/or BI files may give enough disk space.
