Progress AppServer does not start with error 8100
<component_name> initialization failure. (5475)
Service transport TCP is busy. (5485)
ERROR: cannot start server. (8100)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.x
CAUSE:
By default, the broker's svrMinport and svrMaxPort are set to 2002 and 2202, respectively. This range might not be sufficiently wide to provide enough available ports, thus causing the server not to start.
FIX:
Check your broker configuration. Make sure you have the appropriate values for "Minimum Port Number" and "Maximum Port Number".
