SYMPTOM(s):
Procontrol/Proservice fails to Autostart a database or Other Task.
More then one database is set to autostart.
Database or Task will start when started manually.
CAUSE:
Prior to 8.3C when a user has more than one database set to Autostart, the Registry settings for Autostart are incorrect.
FIX:
Edit the specific registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\ProService\8.3D\Databases\<database name>
Under the dbname key, the second token is called Autostart.
The default value for AutoStart is 0x00000001 (1). If the affected database is set to 0x00000002 (2), change the value to one.
Shut down proservice and restart.
For Other Tasks the registry key is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\ProService\8.3D\Other Tasks\<identifier> such as oibrkr32
