Link warning message Killremusr after VMS remote Probuild
Probuild warning messages for VMS Progress Version 6.2N03
Date Last Modified: 19-MAY-94
=============================
With the 6.2N03 release of PROGRESS for VMS, when doing a
PROBUILD and the user selects any REMOTE options from the
build list, the following error may appear when the user
executes the command procedure generated by the PROBUILD.
%LINK-W-NUDFSYMS, 1 undefined symbol:
%LINK-I-UDFSYM, KILLREMUSR
%LINK-W-USEUNDEF, undefined symbol KILLREMUSR referenced
in psect $CODE offset
in module....
This is a warning message only and does not affect the
creation of their executable.
The user can avoid getting the warning message by adding
the following line to their command procedure, before the
line stacks=20
symbol=killremusr,0
For example, the bottom of the command procedure would
look like this:
original .com file modified .com file
---------------------- -------------------
. .
. .
sys$share:vaxcrtl/share sys$share:vaxcrtl/share
stack=20 symbol=killremusr,0
stack=20
