SYMPTOM(s):
INSTALLATION ERROR (139): The entered configuration information is incorrect. Re-enter the configuration data.
CAUSE:
This error can occur when you enter the wrong serial number or control codes. However, if the serial number and/or control codes are correct, then the problem may be that the HP-UX 11 system is missing an operating system patch.
FIX:
To check which operating system patches are installed on an HP-UX 11 system, run the 'show_patches command as follows:
/usr/contrib/bin/show_patches
Verify whether the HP-UX "libc cumulative patch' is installed. It will be listed as follows within the 'show_patches' listing:
(PHCO_22076 or newer such as PHCO_24148) installed.
