OpenEdge Category: Database
CAUSE:
Bug# 20010608-001
CAUSE:
The problem occurs when Progress tries to write error messages to a tty device which does not exist. Progress should, however, detect that the tty device no longer exists and so, not attempt to write errors to that device.
This may happen when killing runaway processes.
FIX:
Problem has been solved in the following version: 8.3E, 9.1B patch, 9.1C patch, 9.1D
