FIX:
Starting in Progress 9.1C02, the Progress Explorer includes a new field that allows you to add "other server arguments" for your database within the "defaultConfiguration" section.
This new field allows you to include any other startup parameters needed for the database connection. For example, -pf, -p, etc...
To configure;
1) Open the Progress Explorer
2) Go under the Databases folder
3) Select Database
4) Under Configuration, select "defaultConfiguration"
5) Right click and select properties.
4) Select the "General" tab.
5) Enter additional startup parameters within field; "Other server arguments"
For example,
-pf /usr1/test/pf/test.pf
