New Process Stack feature with PROGRESS 6.2N+
New Feature with PROGRESS VAX/VMS 6.2N and above
------------------------------------------------
Starting with PROGRESS 6.2N and above, a new feature was
added to the PROGRESS VAX/VMS product that dumps
the contents of the VMS process stack to the appropriate
PROGRESS log files. This "stack" information assists both
Technical Support and Engineering in troubleshooting
problems occuring at either the server or the user level.
The following is an excerpt from a log file where the
"stack" dump was associated with a VMS Access Violation.
