No references from previous releases of Progress are present as environment variables.
No references from previous releases of Progress are present in the Registry.
There are no Progress services running on the system.
CAUSE:
Prolib or Proctrl are running on the system. These are files are probably from a previous release of Progress.
FIX:
Stop Prolib or Proctrl. Then try installing.
