GOAL:
How to troubleshoot Euro Symbol (€) not displaying or printing.
FIX:
For problems displaying the EURO symbol in GUI applications:
- First check if both ASCII 128 and ASCII 0128 won't display the EURO
symbol.
- Check if other applications like Word or WordPad do display the EURO
symbol correctly.
- See if cutting & pasting will cause the EURO symbol to display.
- Check if a EURO-enabled font is being used. Only Times New Roman,
Arial and Courier New officially support the EURO symbol.
- Make sure to run the latest patch version of Windows.
- Check if the currently installed version of Windows has the Euro Product Update Patch (available at www.microsoft.com).
