SYMPTOM(s):
Trying to connect to a Progress database
** Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno <ERRNO>. (1432)
** Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno <0>.(1432)
Database has been started from ProControl
There is a -db parameter in the 'Startup Parameters' field in the 'General' tab for the selected Database
CAUSE:
The -db parameter should not be set in this field.
FIX:
1. Stop the Server for the database.
2. Go to: ProControl > 'Detail' and choose the affected database, then 'Edit'. Remove the -db parameter from the 'Startup Parameters' field.
3. Restart the Server for the database.
