The program and environment update also works for Progress, Java / Flex and JBoss configuration files. This stage updates only one set of programs and one JBoss instance. Run the console again, discarding the remaining stages to update other instances.
Parameters the client left blank will not be updated. In this case, the log reports that the parameter-dependent update has been discarded.
If the backup of an update does not complete successfully, then you will not be able to update this file. If you want to back up an update, copy the directories generated in the backup over the target directory of the update.
In case of a problem updating JBoss configuration files, changes are automatically undone.
The console does not allow you to use an application server to update binaries, but you can upgrade files in UNC paths (\\server\share\directory).
You can run a script before executing the stage. The script is a command or a set of statements in an file executable by the operating system. The console does not address error or return of this script.
The console enables the option to not execute this stage. Do not use this option unless explicitly recommended by the TOTVS technical support. Use the button if you want to execute the stage to start the process immediately, or the button to schedule stage execution to configure all processes of the console and leave the execution to the end.
