This is the main screen of the plug-in responsible for validating the CRC of specific programs before updating the Datasul 12 product, thus allowing you to recompile in advance, reducing the occurrence of CRC errors in the production environment.

Access the Validation of Specifics plug-in through the Product Environment Management Console.

When you open the Console, at the top left corner, find the access to the Plug-ins. For a new one, click 'Get new plug-in' and select the verificaEsp plug-in.

After the download, go back to the Plug-in screen, select 'Validation of Specifics' and click Run.

This information is optional and does not affect plug-in use.

Database:
Enter the database used with the Datasul product.

Datasul target package:
Enter to which package you are updating/converting the product. If your version is 11.5.10 and you will update it to 11.5.12, run the plug-in only once, entering in this field the final target update (11.5.12, in this example).

Programs path:
Enter the directory where the specific programs are found.

Alias file:
If you use a unified database, enter the path of the alias file (.p) used by the product.
The file must have only one alias per row and must not contain special characters as comments (/**/), for example.

Log file:
Enter the location where the file containing the execution result will be saved, entering which programs require recompilation.

Execute (green button):
starts the execution of program validations.

Access the kbase with the plug-in documentation.

Situation not considered in this validation: CRC index change only, with no changes to the table (few occurrences).
