Citrix MetaFrame (for Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server)
SYMPTOM(s):
Error: "<application> is not a valid Windows NT application"
Using a user account that is not a memeber of the administrators group.
CAUSE:
This error is generated when the NT Terminal Server or Citrix Metaframe administrator has enabled the Application Security on the Server. By enabling Application Security on the Server, the system’s security is increased; restricting user execution access to the programs. FIX:
Start the Application Security tool in Administrative Tools (Common)
