SYMPTOM(s):
Client session appearing to hang when running in a MC/Service Guard environment
The Progress database broker appears to start correctly.
Attempting to connect to the database the session can hang with no error messages appearing in any of the log files.
The _mprosrv process exists and the database log file shows that there are no errors on startup.
FIX:
This problem has been narrowed down to a particular HP-UX 11 MC/Service Guard patch.
The patch that resolves this problem is:
HP-UX 11 MC/SG patch: PHSS_22541
