Using crc startup with VMS
The -crc option became available on the VMS platform as of 6.2G07.
This option is only available with Unix style syntax. Therefore, to
use it on VMS, you must use it in a parameter file at startup time.
This is documented on page STUP-3 in the Version 6 Document
Bulletin VII.
