Running Version 7 when TERM and PROTERMCAP type is sun-cmd
DRAFT COPY - Currently under review and edit.
INTRODUCTION:
=============
This entry tells how to run Progress V7 on TERM type "sun-cmd".
WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
===========================
Users who run on Sun Command Tool will have a TERM type of "sun-cmd".
While this TERM is included in the Version 7 PROTERMCAP file, users
may find that their display looks "squished" or otherwise poorly
formatted when starting up TTY Version 7.
PROCEDURAL APPROACH:
====================
The user should turn *off* the "scrolling" feature on the Command Tool
window then restart Progress Version 7. Once the scrolling mode is
off, Progress will display correctly. Scrolling is not currently
supported on the sun-cmd terminal type.
ONLINE PROCEDURES OR UTILITIES:
===============================
None.
REFERENCES TO WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION:
