SUMMARY:
This solution provides a workaround for a known problem with running the ActiveX Client with the following JavaSoft JRE's:
1.2.2_007
1.3.0_002
Although the install seems to complete successfully with these JRE's, an attempt to run the ActiveX client can generate the following error on the client:
Run-time error '430'
Class does not support Automation or does not support expected
interface.
SOLUTION:
The suggested way to resolve this issue is to not use the JRE's that are known to cause the problem. If you already have one of these JRE's installed and you are experiencing the problem, you can perform the following steps to resolve it:
1) Uninstall the ActiveX client.
2) Install a JavaSoft JRE other than the two mentioned above that
have this problem.
The following versions are known to work without
illustrating this issue:
1.2.2_006
1.3.0
SonicMQ recommends 1.2.2_006 because this is the ActiveX
client that SonicMQ is tested and certified with. The 1.3.0
version has been seen to work however.
Both of these JRE's can be found at the following URL:

3) Re-install the ActiveX Client.
